Alvin Crespo
Michael Riordan
Michael Riordan is an Assistant Professor at RIT’s School of Print Media where he teaches coursework relating to publishing production. Through his research, he works closely with publishers, print service providers and creative agencies to help improve their workflows and has worked with CGATS and standards organizations to develop quality assurance mechanisms to support the same.
Ryan Snyder
Ryan is a fourth year applied networking and systems administration major and printing minor from Ohio. His primary interest is digital workflow and production systems and how traditional print media entities can successfully transition to new media. He has worked for both the Daily Standard and the Columbus Dispatch.
Sean Conklin
Sean Conklin is a first year New Media Publishing Major at RIT. He is a member of the Open Publishing Guide team while also working on the Innovation News project.
Patricia Albanese (Pitkin)
Pat Albanese’s extensive career has been one of exploring the intersection of information and technology. Currently Pat holds the position of Gannet Distinguished Professor in the School of Print Media, College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Robert J Whitney
Bob is a 2008 graduate of RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences. As a student researcher with RIT’s Open Publishing Lab, he enjoyed working across various projects, and helping to facilitate their growth as concepts early on.
Rachael Gootnick
Rachael Gootnick recently graduated with a BS in Graphic Media Publishing in May 2009. Rachael is the Project Manager for the Open Publishing Guide and loves putting her organizational and communication skills to good use. She is currently working on the content management and design of the Open Publishing Guide website.
Matthew Bernius
Matthew is a cultural anthropologist who focuses on studying how new media tools alter the way groups communicate, and, in turn, how those changes affect the evolution of said tools. Prior to joining RIT's School of Print Media as a visiting professor, he completed a Masters in the Social Sciences at the University of Chicago.
