Life as a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transsexual can be hard anywhere, including RIT. To improve the quality of life for these individuals, they have set up an interactive presentation to educate people about considering all groups and how diversity issues on campus affect everyone.

The main focus of the exhibit is how to be language-inclusive of GLBT individuals in everyday life. It encourages visitors to think inclusively with their words not only in religion, but also with their sexuality.

Visitors will also learn what RIT is doing to help GLBT people on campus lead a better and easier life. A great program advocating this is Safe Zone training. This is a program that offers basic training for faculty and staff on how to be more inclusive and informed about GLBT issues.

This exhibit presents in the open, an issue that is often swept under the rug and ignored. Finally, GLBT individuals are not only standing up for themselves, but are also helping others understand more about them.
