Seniors in the Film and Animation program are required to complete a thesis project to embody all they have learned in their time at RIT. This project is representative of their education and experience at the school, along with long hours working on each film.

FSI Building Awareness on the RIT Campus

The Future Stewards Initiative (FSI) is an on-campus support structure for American Indian, Alaskan Native, and First Nations students at RIT. Participants of this organization are encouraged and sponsored by their tribal nation to pursue degrees in fields such as business, engineering technology, medical sciences, environmental science, and sustainability, among other others.

Creating A Safe Community

Life as a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transsexual can be hard anywhere, including RIT. To improve the quality of life for these individuals, they have set up an interactive presentation to educate people about considering all groups and how diversity issues on campus affect everyone.

The Academic Support Center (ACS) held an informational session on the second floor of the George Eastman Building to assist students transitioning from their first year to their second year. The program aimed toward a better understand and possibly help their student avoid the “sophomore slump,” or rescue them from it if need be.
