RIT public safety officers have a new tool at their disposal. The electric “Segway” is an upright, self-balancing, 2-wheel human transport vehicle that’s helping them respond to calls for help and rescue.

American Sign Language, or ASL, finger-spelled letters are being converted to text. At the WOW! Center, a new technology being developed to do just that is on display.

Underwater Robotics!

Light Shows and Improv Dazzle Golisano Auditorium

Most students are satisfied with big speakers and good music in their room. Not Josh Dietrich. The only thing that made sense, to him, was adding a light show.

Living on the Computer Science House floor, Josh was required to complete a project that in some way benefitted his community. In response, he created the Digital and Analog Music Manipulation of Incandescent Technology (DAMMIT).
