Think you could create a 3-Dimensional object using a printer? The Dimension BST 768 does just that with about the same effort it takes to send a text file to a home printer.

Welcome to the Opening Ceremony of Imagine RIT, the main event that started off one of the most unique days at RIT. Imagine RIT, is an incredible event welcoming all to view and explore RIT. President William Destler’s speech echoed his pride in sharing this wonderful day with the thousands of guests on campus today.

Want a peek at a few fine examples of the innovation that goes on at RIT everyday?

The Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science is displaying examples of its research in the field of Medical Imaging. The exhibit, which can be found in the Xerox WOW! Center, features an interesting display which shows how Imaging Science can be used to advance medical technology.

Creating A Better Learning Environment for the Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing

Over at building 55, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), Professor’s Gary Long and Susan Foster presented the Class Act website. The website provides a forum for questions and strategies regarding deaf and hard-of-hearing teaching practices in a mainstream post-secondary environment.

Free Drinks, New Ideas, and Beautiful Beats: The Infinity Quad Has It All

The Infinity Quad was a ghost town at the start of the inaugural Imagine RIT Festival. Then RIT musical group Surround Sound hit the stage and drew a large crowd with its smooth beats and melodic harmonies. A mix of contemporary and classic-barbershop music delighted on-lookers young and old. All grooved to the beat that was happening on stage.
