RIT's Baja SAE Race Team Holds Car Demonstration

A bright orange car, distinctly featuring a tiger face, came barreling through Simone Circle as onlookers watched in amazement. This afternoon, the RIT Baja SAE Race team held a demonstration of their award winning baja car outside of RIT Central on stage 3. The demonstration, which began at 3pm, showcased the club’s prizewinning car.

Artifical Intelligence Academic Advising System

The Artificial Intelligence Academic Advising system makes use of a programming language that can perform useful tasks by utilizing artificial intelligence. James R. Mallory, a graduate computer science student, developed the initial system at RIT.

Pioneering Robotics at RIT

We live in a world where technology is constantly changing. At the forefront of this industrial metamorphosis is the field of robotics. RIT, in association with Mechanical Engineering clubs, gives students the opportunity to work hands-on in this field to progress the development of machines.

Student Photo and Book Exhibit on Pythons Features Live Python

Current RIT student, Samantha Wenitsky, is already a published author. Her book, "Keeping Ball Pythons: the Care and Husbandry of Python Regius in Captivity", is a comprehensive work that covers everything from the basic biology of pythons to issues that may arise while caring for them. In addition, the book features Samantha's photographic work with the pythons.

Seniors in the Film and Animation program are required to complete a thesis project to embody all they have learned in their time at RIT. This project is representative of their education and experience at the school, along with long hours working on each film.

Brainwreck Improv

Rolling laughter signaled the success of the Brainwreck Improv comedy performance this afternoon in the Ingle Auditorium. The performance was a live act in which RIT students engaged the audience in participation with the suggestion of sensational scenes by shouting the first thing that came to mind. The actors then had to act out their scene based on what suggestions were given to them.
