Fifty-two cards lay on a table, each with their own unique symbol. At plain sight, these cards are just black and white, but when held up to the camera at the exhibit, these cards show scenes from the movie, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".

This morning, guests from Rochester Institute of Technology and the surrounding area gathered in Ingle auditorium at RIT Central, also known as the Student Alumni Union, to view Marla Schweppe’s brainchild, a virtual dance lesson between human and 3-D avatars.

President Destler Launches Innovation Festival

Upon the arrival of the contestants of the Green Vehicle Contest, visitors gathered around the stage waiting for President William W. Destler’s opening ceremony. The event kicked off the second annual Imagine RIT innovation festival in the RIT Central area. Destler initiated the opening ceremony with several statistics that made the event come alive.

Three-dimensional scanners are used in a variety of manners. Today, the scanner is being used to showcase sculptures from RIT Alum, James Border, in a new and innovative manner. His artwork is on display in the Engineering Park, inside the James E. Gleason Building (9), room 2410.
