Windows PC

Windows System Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista
• 100 MB free disk space (for the Adobe Air and Sun Java Runtimes)
• 512 MB RAM or more (depending on EPub size, possibly up to 1 GB RAM recommended

Choose one of the following to download:

• Download the installer for the beta Page2Pub Add-On & Render System and the installers for Adobe Air and Java (21 mb)
• Download just the installer for the beta Page2Pub Add-On & Render System (6 mb)

NOTE: If you will not be downloading the Page2Pub package that has pre-requisites bundled, you will also need to have the following installed:

• Sun Java 1.6 or later
• Adobe Air 1.5 or later

Mac OS X

Mac System Requirements:

• 64-bit Intel Processor (Core 2 series or later)
• 60 MB free disk space (for Adobe Air)
• 512 MB RAM or more (depending on EPub size, possibly up to 1 GB RAM recommended)
• Mac OS X 10.5 or later
• Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 1 or later (for Java SE 6.0 support; Java Update 4 is recommended for security)
• Java SE 6.0 set as the default JRE (see readme section "3.2 Mac OS X")

• Download the OS X beta Page2Pub Render System and Adobe AIR (40 mb)

Download just the Page2Pub Firefox Add-On

The gathering component is capable of running on any platform that Mozilla Firefox supports. As such, it has few system requirements beyond those of Mozilla Firefox itself, as follows:

• 10 MB free disk space
• 256 MB RAM or more (depending on EPub size, possibly up to 1 GB RAM recommended)
• Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Adobe Digital Editions (optional; for viewing EPubs after gathering)

• Download the Beta Page2Pub Firefox Add-On (808K note: you will need to restart Firefox to complete the installation).
