Rachael Gootnick recently graduated with a BS in Graphic Media Publishing in May 2009. Rachael is the Project Manager for the Open Publishing Guide and loves putting her organizational and communication skills to good use. She is currently working on the content management and design of the Open Publishing Guide website.

Rachael is most interested in book design and publishing. Her work experience includes two years with Borders Group, and a year with a local television channel. Rachael hopes to empower individuals to create original books, and encourage other to self-publish.

In her free time, Rachael enjoys reading, films, outdoor activities and spending time with her loved ones. She is extremely excited to be involved in the projects at the OPL, and enjoys discussing self-publishing with interested individuals.
